SNMP Profile is not available for use in a Discovery Profile.

Issue/Introduction

When using a discovery profile, an SNMP profile that was created does not appear in the list of SNMP profiles available for use.

Environment

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Cause

SNMP Profiles with Use for SET configured are not available for use in Discovery Profiles.

Resolution

SNMP Profiles configured with the Use for SET option are used for the specific purpose of Response Test creation.

To use an SNMP Profile in a Discovery Profile ensure the Use for SET is not configured.
