Display command to determine which log file is currently being written to by CA 7.

Resolution

You may need to know which log file is currently being written to by CA 7 so that you can browse for the latest events or use the file for the most current history.

To view which log (primary or secondary) is active, enter the following command:

/DISPLAY,DB=LOG

 *** DB DISPLAY ***                                  
  DS   TRACKS  AVAIL                                 
                                                     
 LOG   000150  000150  SECNDRY                       
                       DSN=your.LOGS  
                                                     
                       PRIMARY                       
                       DSN=your.LOGP  

The first entry is the log that CA 7 is currently writing to.
