View - SYSOUT/LOGDUMP output not going to View

Issue/Introduction

We have a started task named SYSLOG, and periodically it will take log output and send it to View as LOGDUMP as a Class D - Direct to Tape.

Since October 26, 2021 no SYSLOG/LOGDUMP has been making its way to View.

There were no changes in the JES settings, in the SARINIT parameters, or the Deliver RMOPARMS.

Resolution

The cause of the problem was that the client's Mainframe Security staff made a change of :

  Remove Top Secret Security software Permission to OPERCMDS(MVS.) from the *ALL* Record on Production

The client will have Mainframe Security reset the permission.
