Issue/Introduction

While capturing the backup, the password is showing in readable format in the cisco ISE log.

Environment

Spectrum Release : 20.2.x, 21.2.x
OS : Windows/Linux

Resolution

Telnet provides users with a bidirectional interactive text-oriented communication. i.e., Telnet sends everything in clear text.
So you need to use an updated protocol like SSH..
