Issue/Introduction

The Resource Finder portlet stops working when a Multi-Value Lookup is added to the list view. Once the field is added the portlet shows "There are no items to display" even is Show All is clicked.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Create a Multi-Valued Lookup in the Resource object
  2. Navigate to Clarity Home > Resource Management > Resource Finder portlet
  3. Click on the Options icon > Configure > List Column Layout and add the attribute created in step one to the 'Selected Columns' section
  4. Click on 'Save And Return' button.

Expected Results: Data to be displayed along with the MVL lookup

Actual Results: Portlet shows: There are no items to display

This same behavior is also reproducible on the Project > Team tab if you use the Resource Finder magnifying glass

Cause

This is caused by DE28376/CLRT-74058

Resolution

After a careful review to the affected area it was decided the defect will not be fixed due to its complexity

Workaround: Do not add Multi-Value lookup fields to the resource Finder portlet list view. If added, please remove it so the portlet works fine again
