Our Pam Production environment is facing a critical issue. We cannot access the appliances and we cannot get the GUI to work. We try rebooting the appliance but it still does not work. Attempts to log on to nodes fail with a "CA PAM is starting up" error. API calls appear to work still. Existing sessions continued to work while new logons were failing.

A check on service availability during the logon process failed incorrectly, the service in fact was available still.
PAM Engineering identified a problem and coded a fix for inclusion in the upcoming 3.4.6 and 4.0.2 maintenance releases. Look for DE518049 in the release notes once available. If you experience this problem before the new releases are available, please raise a case with PAM Support.
