Issue/Introduction

I reviewed Article 200243 and I’m not sure if the PTF’s are for PC applications, or Datacom code that should run on the mainframe under USS. Looking at the text for PTF’s LU00326, LU01401 and LU02895, it appears that they contain updates to the following modules cadcjdbc.jar, cadcjdoc.jar, cadcmf32.dll and cadcmf64.dll.

I’ve found all these modules on the mainframe in our Unix System Services (USS) HFS directory, where they appear to have been installed during the SMPE install of the base Datacom product.

Environment

Release : 15.1

Component : DATACOM SERVER

Cause

Warning message received when trying to run CAUNZIP against a zip file of solutions for client personal computers

CAZIP06W: Unknown Solution Found’ errors when running CAUNZIP against a ZIP file containing Datacom/AD PTF’s

Resolution

You can find all Datacom Server solutions by Navigating to:
Support.broadcom.com >> Product downloads >> Datacom >>  Switch from "product download" tab to "solution downloads" tab just under the word DATACOM >> Datacom Server MVS 15.0

The title mentions MVS, but this actually contains all solutions for windows, Linux, z/os - USS and z/os - MF server region.

The second column notes which Operating System a particular solution is for.
If the solution is for z/os - USS or z/os - mainframe (MF), this will be noted in the title of a solution. For example, solution LU01618 is titled with
"USS: PROBLEM WITH DATA INSERTION AFTER A NULL IS INSERTED"

The same title format would apply if a particular solution is JDBC or ODBC related
