Issue/Introduction

WCC r12.0 SP1 on Linux connected to SQL

When running "unifstat" we see that CA-wcc is up and running , however CA-wcc-services is not.

Following error message found back in $CA_WCC_INSTALL_LOCATION/WCC_COLLECTOR/log

INFO   | jvm 1    | 2021/11/22 15:05:47 |        5 | SEVERE: property not set:reporting.database.platform
INFO   | jvm 1    | 2021/11/22 15:05:47 |        5 | java.lang.RuntimeException: property not set:reporting.database.platform

Environment

Autosys  12.X
WORKLOAD CONTROL CENTER
WCC

Resolution

We were able to get CA-wcc-services back up and running.

We noticed the following error message in

INFO   | jvm 1    | 2021/11/22 15:05:47 |        5 | SEVERE: property not set:reporting.database.platform

reporting.database.platform parameter was missing in $CA_WCC_INSTALL_LOCATION/collectors/WCC_COLLECTOR/data/config/application/config/resources/connection.properties

After copying this parameter from your working WCC (primary) and restart of both CA-wcc and CA-wcc-services, everything started up fine.
Also able to login into shadow WCC.
