After an IPL CA 11 was suspended because Datacom wasn't available yet. It normally automatically resumes once Datacom is Available. However this time it went to the Operator, and we missed it. Why did it do that? How can we prevent that? We don't want operator involvement.
Release : 11.0
Component : CA 11
A manual suspend occurred as indicated by the following message:
U11D-4300-0 SRC=1 CMD: SUSPEND
*U11D-8000-5 SUSPENDING DATABASE ACTIVITY
*U11D-8000-6 ENTER 'RESUME' COMMAND WHEN READY SSN=CAL7
U11D-4300-0 SRC=1 CMD: RESUME
A manual SUSPEND can only be resumed by issuing a manual RESUME command. If an automatic suspend had occurred the following messages would be present:
U11D-8000-20 HEARTBEAT FUNCTION DETECTED MUF IN EOJ, SUSPENDING CA-11
*U11D-8000-5 SUSPENDING DATABASE ACTIVITY
*U11D-8000-14 AUTOMATIC RESUME IN PROGRESS SSN=CAL7
An automatic RESUME only occurs if an automatic SUSPEND occurred earlier. A manual SUSPEND can only be resumed by a manual RESUME command. To avoid this the operators should allow CA 11 to automatically suspend if the Datacom/AD MUF becomes unavailable then once Datacom/AD MUF is available the automatic resume will occur.
