Deleting a SpanVA

Issue/Introduction

You want to remove a SpanVA.

Resolution

In order to decommission SpanVA please follow below steps:

1. Stop sending traffic from the proxy or firewall to the legacy SpanVA.
2. Remove legacy data sources via CloudSOC > Audit > Device Logs.
3. Navigate to CloudSOC > Settings > SpanVA > Status Monitor.
4. Select the legacy SpanVA and click "Remove SpanVA" under the actions menu:

Because the SpanVA is a virtual machine (VM), you will need to delete the VM next. 

The VM will be hosted on a hypervisor such as VMware ESXi. If you cannot do it independently, you'll need to have a VM admin delete the Virtual Machine. Warning: Deleting a virtual machine is irreversible.
