Issue/Introduction

We received the following question from one of our customers:

We are implementing NATURAL zIIP under CICS.  Transactions are now executed in "OTE-TCBs" (Open Transaction Environment).

Does SYSVIEW have any kind of consideration in handling the metrics for this?

SYSVIEW Engineering provided the answer:

 

The SYSVIEW transaction monitoring exits (including GSVCMEI) are threadsafe, so there should be no consideration whether a transaction executes on OTE or QR TCB.
