How to restrict "Analyst" from changing the group name?
CA Service Desk All Versions.
For the role (or roles) that you wish to restrict:
Go to the Administration tab
Security and Role Management --> Role Management --> Role List
View the Role
Go to the Additional Information tab --> Function Access tab
Click Edit in List
Change the access level for Group to View
Save
This will prevent any modification to the grp object by that role.
Restrict Analyst from modifying the group name in a ticket.
