Not getting any metrics for VSE response time (in Reporting -> VSE Metrics): com.jaspersoft.jasperreports.license.LicenseException: License not found

Issue/Introduction

Project team is facing issues on Primary DCT server (001q) like not able to fetch any metrics/graphs under

Reporting ->
 Virtual Service Metrics -> Virtual Service Response Time

 

Note: same above feature is working fine on other DevTest instances like secondary server (002q) and sandbox server (003q)

Please advise us here if need to tweak any settings on 001q server.

Cause

appdynamics entries were added recently to Registry server machine

Resolution

We made a few changes suggested by AppD support team  and the error are gone.  The license file location was missing.  

 

In/opt/apps/devtest/bin/RegistryService.vmoptions file

 

From

"-Dcom.jaspersoft.jasperreports.license.location=$prg_dir//../webserver/webapps/jasper-server$APPD_JAVA_OPTIONS/License/jasperreports.license"

To

"-Dcom.jaspersoft.jasperreports.license.location=$prg_dir//../webserver/webapps/jasper-server/License/jasperreports.license"
