Is there a way in Spectrum to have newly created SDN devices placed into Maintenance Mode at creation time?

Environment

Release : Spectrum 21.2.4 and below

Component : SDN Manager

Resolution

This functionality will be included in Spectrum 21.2.6 when released. 

The new feature will be named "Maintenance support for SDN Devices".

In this feature, there will be an option to "Place Newly created SDN Entities into Maintenance".

This option will place all newly created SDN Devices (Router, Switch, Controller, etc) into Maintenance Mode at model creation.

There is no specific release date for Spectrum 21.2.6 at the time this knowledge article was published.
