Bug Causing 'specific user' to default as Business Sponsor for when creating new ideas

Issue/Introduction

We seem to have a bug in our system causing our business sponsor field to be set to always the same user by default when creating new ideas. We have checked the default value for this attribute in the Studio but it is blank so we are not sure where it is coming from.

Environment

Release : SAAS

Component : CLARITY STUDIO

Resolution

The reason default value for this attribute was not showing in the Studio was because that resource was inactive and as per lookup it was only showing Active resources.

To resolve this below steps were performed:

1. Temporarly made the resource Active by going to Administration->Resources and changing status from Inactive to Active.

2. Navigate to Administration->Studio and go to Idea object.

3. Click on properties of the attribute in question and now we could see a resource name under default value.

4. Removed the default value and saved the attribute properties.

5. Inactivated resource as in step 1 above.

6. Attempting to create new idea and we could no longer see default value set for that attribute.
