How to get the Average Durations to show for jobs that are not in the critical path.

Issue/Introduction

Not all jobs are showing the Average Duration icons in the Gantt, like they are below:

Without the average duration, shorter/longer icon:

With the average duration, shorter/longer icon:

How do I get the Average Durations to show for jobs that are not in the critical path?

Resolution

1. You can either click the icon in the screenshot below, from the top of the Gantt chart for "View Settings":

Or right click within the Gantt chart and select "View Settings.

2. Then click on the "Average Durations" tab.

3. By default only jobs in the critical path will show the Longer/Shorter Icon within the Average Duration icon.

You can modify this by changing the options in the screenshot below:

The changes will take place immediately and apply to your user id.
