Issue/Introduction

Scenario:

While using the Client Tools for Identity Governance to change and create/modify new Eurekify roles/permissions (as per the documentation - https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/identity-security/identity-governance/14-4/configuring/permissions.html), an error is returned when trying to connect to the database:

Provider Cannot Be Found. It may not be properly installed.

Environment

Release : 14.4

Component : Identity Governance Client Tools connecting to MS SQL using the method "Static SQL Credentials".

Cause

3rd party libraries

Resolution

This issue can be caused by the missing MS SQL client tools package or some associated dependencies\ libraries.  Installing MS SQL Management Studio for testing appears to refresh/redeploy the dependencies and resolve the issue.
