Localization feature - Change translations of Project tabs

Issue/Introduction

We understand that there is a new Localization feature in version 15.9.3. We want to change the Project tab names in the Modern UX using this feature.

Environment

Version: 15.9.3, 16.0.0.

Resolution

The tab names of Projects in the Modern UX can be changed by modifying the "ppm_ux_server-translation.properties" file. The zip file that is obtained when the export option is used in the Localization page, contains this specific file within it.

For example, if we want to change the name of the Tasks tab, we can modify the following line in the file mentioned above.

server-translation.modules.defaultNames.tasks=Aktiviteter

For other tabs, search for "modules.defaultNames" in this same file.

Additional Information

The capability to change the translation for "Baselines" tab is not yet present as of version 16.0.0. This capability is introduced in version 16.0.1.
