Issue/Introduction

Searching for an interface results in duplicates being displayed. For example, searching for 86.L1XX... finds the following:

Access Port-1-1-1-2

ae10.8701

ae10.8701

Why is ae10.8701 displayed twice?

Items displayed more then once 

items displayed twice 

duplicate interfaces displayed

Cause

This is caused by defect DE511269 fixed in 21.2.5 

Resolution

Fixed in 21.2.5. Upgrade to 21.2.5+

Symptom: When viewing Interfaces inventory, some interfaces can appear twice when they have more than one IP address/subnet.
Resolution: With this fix, the SQL query no longer causes multiple instances of the same interface to appear in Inventory, when there was more than one IP/subnet.
