Error: "The item you have selected cannot be imported because it creates a circular folder reference"

Issue/Introduction

Exported a folder from one Notification Server (NS) 8.1.1119 and when importing it to another NS the following message is received:

The item you have selected cannot be imported because it creates a circular folder reference.

Environment

ITMS 8.6.1119

Cause

This message occur when the exported .xml was being imported into its own folder.

Resolution

Import the folder .xml into another location in the NS Console.

NOTE:  If the folder already exists in another location in the NS Console then you should receive the following message and option:

The item you are importing already exists in the system under a different folder. Importing the item will move it to this folder. Press OK to continue the import or Cancel to abort.
