Issue/Introduction

Are there any exclusion rules needed when enabling Antivirus to allow optimal running of Automic Workload Automation?

Component : AWA

Resolution

If possible, in your anti-virus tool, you should exclude the entire Automation Engine and Tomcat Directory directory.

Minimally though, at least exclude any folders that contain logs, since they will be constantly changing and can often lock up resources due to continual scanning.
