Issue/Introduction

Two Endpoint Encryption client application files are not code signed:

C:\Program Files\Symantec\Endpoint Encryption Clients\Management Agent\FrameworkSettings.xml

C:\Program Files\Symantec\Endpoint Encryption Clients\Management Agent\PGPce.dll.sig

Environment

Symantec Endpoint Encryption 11.3 and above.

Resolution

The FrameworkSettings.xml file is generated when the administrator creates the *.msi installer file from Endpoint Encryption Management Server and then it is included in the *.msi file that is distributed to the clients. Therefore it cannot be code signed.

PGPce.dll.sig is the PGP signature file for PGPce.dll. There's no need to sign a PGP signature file with a code signing certificate.
