Error in C++ connector server while changing the DB2 connection account password in OS.

Issue/Introduction

An error occurs when changing the password of the DB2 connection account in OS (Windows), and then performing the etautil command to change the password.

LdapNotActivated Exception

JNDI: Failed to activate connector on proxy connector server

 

Environment

The DB2 target system was connected to the Provisioning Manager with a db2admin account. Attached is the target connection information.

DB2 Version : DB2 v11.1.3030.239
Identity Manager Version : 14.4(Windwos 2016)

Cause

Steps:

1. Registered DB2 target system in Provisioning Manager (Connection account: db2admin)
2. Run lusrmgr.msc after accessing the db2 target system.
3. Changing the db2admin password.
4. Change the db2admin password to etautil command after accessing the Provisioning Server.(error)

The C++ Server needs a restart whenever the db2admin password is changed and it is working as per the design.
