User ID after explore and correlate is in lowercase

Issue/Introduction

Scenario:

A custom DYN connector has been created using CA Identity Manager Connector Xpress (ConXp).  The contents of the endpoint are in mixed case (upper and lowercase), however, after running an explore and correlate (E&C) the users have a user ID attribute populated in small letters. 

Is there any logic in place which is setting the Global User Name in the Identity Manager userstore into lower letters?

Cause

Working as designed.

Resolution

The GlobalUserName is forced into lowercase, however, there are no configurations to change this.  This functionality is as designed.
