Error : Web Agent libmod_sm24.so: undefined symbol: ap_unixd_config

Issue/Introduction

 

Starting Web Agent on Oracle HTTP Server, this one doesn't start and
return error :

  <2021-10-19 08:14:28> <INFO> <OHS-0> <httpd.worker: Syntax error on line 212 of
  /opt/Middleware/user_projects/domains/ohs_domain/config/fmwconfig/components/OHS/instances/ohs1/httpd.conf:
  Cannot load /opt/CA/webagent/bin/libmod_sm24.so
  into server:
  /opt/CA/webagent/bin/libmod_sm24.so:
  undefined symbol: ap_unixd_config

 

Environment

 

  Web Agent 12.52SP1CR11 on OHS 12.2.0.1.17 on Linux;
   ca-wa-12.52-sp01-cr11-linux-x86-64.bin;

  Oracle Interim Patch Installer version 12.2.0.1.17

 

 

Cause

 

According to Oracle Documentation, it seems that Apache 2.4 is
available only from version 12.2.1, the 12.2.0 still is Apache 2.2 (1).

 

Resolution

 

- In /opt/Middleware/user_projects/domains/ohs_domain/config/fmwconfig/components/OHS/instances/ohs1/httpd.conf

  set the library to be 

  /opt/CA/webagent/bin/libmod_sm22.so

  instead of

  /opt/CA/webagent/bin/libmod_sm24.so
