Issue/Introduction

ERROR [AutomicProcessingTrigger] (AXk99xHFN-o=) - Error fetching object definitions from Automic. Retry after 120 seconds. Error: RESTEASY004655: Unable to invoke request: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Environment

Release : 6.3.0

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE INTEGRATION FOR AWA

Resolution

  • Check the Automic server to see if RAM is properly allocated to the JCP.

  • On the Scheduler configuration page within the AAI website where the Automic Scheduler was added, if you go to "Show Advanced" this a timeout for the "Automic API Read Timeout (seconds)" that is 300 seconds by default,

Try setting that to 600 seconds, and save the changes, and restart the Automic Connector, this may need to be increased further, but we could start with 600 and see if it still times out.
