Issue/Introduction

The installation or publishing of a new form with Web Screen Painter can fail with errors like these in the stdlog:

11/06 00:00:00.00 SERVERNAME domsrvr:05              8888 ERROR        majic.y               1111 Column COLUMN_NAME for attribute ATTRIBUTE_NAME is not defined in the schema
11/06 00:00:00.00 SERVERNAME domsrvr:05              8888 ERROR        majic.y               2222 Table TABLE_NAME for object OBJECT_NAME is not defined in the schema

Environment

Service Desk v17.x

Cause

ddict.sch file is incorrect

Resolution

This can happen if there is inconsistency between the ddict.sch file and the actual tables and columns in the Oracle or SQL Server database.

Ensure the ddict file is updated to match the current schema and in the correct folder

Default Location C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\Service Desk Manager\site
