Issue/Introduction

Cube processing fails and returns either of the the following errors:
Error: OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: XML parsing: line 1, character 26, illegal xml character; 42000. Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the dimension with the ID of 'DLP Condition Change Audit', Name of 'DLP Condition Change Audit' was being processed.

Additional errors may follow:
Server: The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed. OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: Operation canceled; HY008.

Cause

The first error is caused by SQL Server failing to parse a vertical tab character that is present in the XML of one or more policy condition keywords in the Symantec DLP database.

The second error is caused by the presence of the following string in one or more policy condition keywords in the Symantec DLP database:

' xsi:nil="true"'
