Issue/Introduction

You want to know how to download and access the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) Tools folder in the installation file.

Cause

The SEP Tools folder does not have a separate download, and is not the same as the Tools included with the SEPM (Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager) download.

Resolution

The Tools folder is available within the Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_<version>_<release>_Full_Installation_<language>.exe download, E.G.: Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_14.3.0_RU3_Full_Installation_EN.exe.

Once the Full Installation binary is downloaded, use an archive utility such as 7-zip to extract the files to disk.
