While trying to upgrade our TDM Portal to TDMWeb-4.9.379.0 the installation fails with the following message:

Looking through the Installation log, the underlying error is:
Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Custom action DeleteFoldersDuringUpgrade script error -2146828218, Microsoft VBScript runtime error: Permission denied Line 12, Column 6,

According to Microsoft, this error can be caused by corrupt Registry keys. In this case, rebooting the Windows server resolved the installation problem. However, you may need to take more action, or get your Windows Admin involved.
