Is it advisable to run Web Viewer at least once before installing any updates or maintenance.

Component : CA OUTPUT MANAGEMENT WEB VIEWER FOR ALL PLATFORMS

Resolution

The product absolutely must be run once before an update can be made successfully.  

The first person to log in must be the one defined in the WVProfile.properties as ADMINISTRATION.DefaultAdminID=

It is suggested that an initial Repository be created and proven that reports can also be accessed prior to any update builds.
