Issue/Introduction

Doing a package detail report (PK/D) in RC/Query for Db2 for z/OS (RCQ) generates message:
PT029I - USE PF10/11 FOR UP/DOWN WITHIN DATA ITEM

This message displays at the bottom of the screen and overwrites data items that are displayed on the screen.

 

Resolution

The ISPF message settings parameter can be changed to display the messages at the top of the screen (below the COMMAND line) instead
of displaying the message at the bottom of the screen in a pop-up box. This can be accomplished by issuing the SETTINGS command within
the product and then remove the leading "/" on the "Long message in pop-up" Option.
