Issue/Introduction

Device from VNA appear without issue in Spectrum, however, when the device goes down, the result is alarms being raised not just on the device model, but also on all interface models belonging to the VNA provisioned devices in Spectrum:

Environment

DX NetOps 21.2
Component : Virtual Network Assurance For CA Spectrum

Resolution

Fix for this is in the 21.2.6 release.

If device down and interface down alarms are received at the same time from VNA then interface alarms will not be shown directly under interfaces instead it will be hidden. The device down alarms will be treated as root-cause alarm and the interface alarms will be treated as symptomatic alarms for that device.  All the interface alarms will be hidden and at same time they will not be cleared as well. But instead they will be shown under symptomatic alarms list.
