Staffing Plan data entry lag when clicking in MUX

Issue/Introduction

In the New User Experience (UX / MUX) on the staffing plan tab when updating hours in the grid / table view of allocations, there is a notable delay when selecting a cell and oftentimes updating a value doesn't stick with that delay and the value has to be re-entered. This is reproduced using clicking / mouse clicking. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

1. Go to the Staffing Plan module in Clarity
2. In the Resource to Investments portlet, assign a resource to 3 projects. (This issue is also reproducible in the Investments to Resources portlet.)
3. Expand the resource so you can see all their projects
4. Using your mouse, click (or double click) into a cell for one of the projects and enter a value
5. Repeat the above step multiple times (It can require a minute or two of entering values)

Expected Results: You are able to enter values in each cell without any delays and the value entered sticks.

Actual Results: There is sometimes a few seconds delay in being able to edit a cell to enter data. Additionally, sometimes when you enter the data, the value switches back to the previous amount.

Resolution

This was reviewed as DE63162 and determined it would not be fixed. Reference our Customer-Reported Defect Resolution Policy

Workarounds:

1. Wait a few seconds for the cell to become editable. Monitor the changes inputted to make sure they stick. If they do not, re-enter the correct amount.

2. Use tab instead of mouse clicking
   
   OR
   
   
3. Use copy and paste to enter data
   
   OR
   
   
4. Use the Staffing workspace instead for data entry where you can add Per Period Metrics fields to enter data in intervals such as weekly, monthly, etc.
