Database event with Source of "Variable" is not kicking off the Event Process tab. When going to Executions for the event and looking at the details, Next check is older than Last Check. The Last Message is:
Last message: U02012033 Query could not be executed: ‘ORA-00942: table or view does not exist (Client: ‘0001’, Object: Ah_idnr=’125973006’/Otyp=’EVNT’/Name=’EVNT.DB.NAME’, Line: ‘-‘
When going into the variable and clicking the Preview button the following message appears:
Query could not be executed: ‘ORA-00942: table or view does not exist (Client: ‘0001’, PREVIEW, Variable: ‘VARA.SQL.VARA_NAME’)’
The connection object being used is able to run a connection test correctly
Release : 12.3
Because the user is able to connect via the connection test, but the "Preview" button in the variable throws an error, the user does not have the correct permissions to run the query.
Log into the database as the exact same user and run the same query and it will return the same error.
The next steps in this case are to talk to the database team and have them fix the permissions for the db user.
Alternatively, a separate user who can run the same query on the same database can be used for the login information in the connection object.
