Error ENBE023C creating a new Endevor processor groups via SCL

Issue/Introduction

Trying to add some processor groups for new COBOL by taking existing ones and changing the name of the processor group and processor.  Already created the new processors, however, it reports that the processor doesn’t exist, even though it does.

ENBE023C  Generate processor GENPROC was not found in the processor load libraries  for system SFCA

Resolution

Check the PROCESSOR TRANSLATION OUTPUT LIBRARIES:  in the System definition  -

PROCESSOR TRANSLATION OUTPUT LIBRARIES:                       
  STAGE 1 LOAD LIBRARY:     NDVR.ADMIN.STG2.LOADLIB 
  STAGE 1 LIST LIBRARY:     NDVR.ADMIN.STG2.LISTLIB 
  STAGE 2 LOAD LIBRARY:     NDVR.ADMIN.STG2.LOADLIB 
  STAGE 2 LIST LIBRARY:     NDVR.ADMIN.STG2.LISTLIB 

 

If both the Stage 1 & Stage 2 processor output libraries point to Stage 2 like the above, there are 2 options:

1)  Temporarily change the Stage 1 processor output libraries in the System definition to point to Stage 1 of the processor output libraries

 

2)  Promote the new processors from Stage 1 to Stage 2 so that they are in the processor output library defined in the System definition
