PAM-CMN-1690: Incorrect password for APIusername external API user for APIusername

Issue/Introduction

I followed directions to create an api account.

after the account is created I am getting the following error:

Cause

Possible causes

1. Bad password

2. Bad Username

3. Formatting issue with the command being summitted through command line or a web based API tool

 

Resolution

To avoid any gues work you can use the Settings> API Doc page when logged into a primary PAM Appliance as an admin user and test with the same username and password to validate.
