Cannot update 12.1 Web Viewer to Build 217 - Continues to come up as Build 206

Issue/Introduction

Trying to update to Build 217 to solve a production issue. I am having trouble upgrading to 217 on our DEV system.  It worked fine on our TECH system, but here in DEV, I go through the same steps and while I see no error messages, after a Tomcat recycle, the application continues to come up as Build 206.  The WAR file is the same size as in TECH.  I've done a stop and start in TOMCAT manager, and double checked everything.

Cause

Customer was selecting the wrong update option for the environment - for the way the application is deployed.

Resolution

Ran the update again, but this time instead of selecting option 3 to update the WAR files, selected option 1 to update Tomcat, recycled Tomcat and it came up as Build 217. Explained that option 3 is more for when you are using the CCS Tomcat or Tomcat from another source/vendor. As the customer is using the the Tomcat supplied with/for Web Viewer (Tomcat 9.0.44), option 1 is what should be used. This resolved the problem.
