Error 1638 while installing 'VS 2017 Redistributable Package'

Issue/Introduction

During the installation of Domain Manager the following error can be seen:

Environment

Client Automation - All supported versions.

Cause

The erro 1638 it's a MsiEXEC error code which means that the feature being installed is already installed, as per:

MsiExec.exe and InstMsi.exe Error Messages

Resolution

The error message is related to "VS 2017 Redistributable Package" feature, which for some reason is installed on the server before Client Automation's installer was executed. In order to solve this error, all related packages can be uninstalled from the list of installed features on the server:

Before uninstalling this component verify that this is not currently being used by any other app installed on this server.
