In place Upgrade to 20.3.0 issue

Issue/Introduction

UpgradIng from 9.0.2 to 20.3.0. It stalls at 30% when I quit the installation it takes just over an hour before the primary hub will start up again. I can then resume the installation and get it to complete when ADE errors by deploying java_jre probe to primary hub. It then finally upgrades to 20.3.0

 

Environment

UIM 20.3.0

Component : UIM - INSTALL

Resolution

Please follow the below step:-

1. Deactivate the primary hub controller service (nimsoft robot watcher server). 

2. Open the Robot.cfg -> within the Controller section add the following key and value: 

"reset_folder_acls = no"

3. Save the changes and restart the nimsoft service, after this re-run the installation.
