PDF download errors - Index KB for Clarity

Known issues related to opening / saving PDFs with Clarity / Export related issues for Reports 

Errors you may see include: 

  • Failed - Network error
  • Couldn't download - Network issue
  • Error 401 - User not registered"

This may happen in Advanced reporting, but may also be seen from an action using steps similar to the below:

  1. Access a Project or Idea Overview (Actions > Overview)
  2. Convert to PDF
  3. Try to save the PDF using a Chrome browser and get an error: "Failed – Network Error”. The file is not saved.

If the above doesn't help

  • See additional troubleshooting steps mentioned at support.google.com at: Chrome blocking downloads or seeing network error?
  • Check what PDF Viewer Chrome is set to open PDFs by default. Try changing it to a different PDF Viewer (for example: Adobe PDF Reader)
