Deploying the Web Viewer 12.1 application from root

Issue/Introduction

We just upgraded the internal Tomcat Server from 9.0.31  to 9.0.44.

Prior to this upgrade ..

We could reach the CA OM Web Viewer 12.1 Login screen by simply specifying:  ipaddress:8080 (via a browser)

Now, ipaddress:8080 presents us with the Apache Tomcat/9.0.44 webpage.

Can this default Apache Tomcat page be changed (via a customization setting)?

Environment

Cause

In order to access the OM Web Viewer 12.1 Login screen by simply specifying:  ipaddress:8080 (via a browser), The 12.1 Web Viewer  application must be deployed as root. 

Resolution

Go into the webapps folder and using OMVS rename CAOMWebViewer12.war to ROOT.war:

MV CAOMWebViewer12.war ROOT.war
