How to deploy the Web Viewer application from ROOT - 12.1 Web Viewer

Issue/Introduction

We just upgraded the internal Tomcat Server from 9.0.31  to 9.0.44.

Prior to this upgrade ..

We could reach the CA OM Web Viewer 12.1 Login screen by simply specifying:  ipaddress:8080 (via a browser)

Now, ipaddress:8080 presents us with the Apache Tomcat/9.0.44 webpage.

Can this default Apache Tomcat page be changed (via a customization setting)?

OPSYS: Unix, Linux

Cause

In order to access the CA OM Web Viewer 12.1 Login screen by simply specifying:  ipaddress:8080 (via a browser), The 12.1 Web Viewer  application must be deployed as ROOT. 

Resolution

, Customer, on his development system went into the webapps folder and using OMVS renamed CAOMWebViewer12.war to ROOT.war (MV CAOMWebViewer12.war ROOT.war).
