Issue/Introduction

After enabling SSL with JasperSoft 7.x, when attempting to download a JasperSoft Dashboard, the downloaded file only has the following content:

Bad request

This combination of host and port requires TLS

Environment

JasperSoft 7.x

All Supported Windows Operating Systems

Resolution

Perform the following on the JasperSoft server:

1.  Open the apache-tomcat\webapps\jasperserver-pro\WEB-INF\js.config.properties file with a text editor

2.  Change the value for deploy.base.local.url to the HTTPS URL to access JasperSoft (i.e. https://JASPERSOFT_SERVER:8443/jasperserver-pro)

3.  Save changes and restart the JasperSoft service

4.  Clear web browser cache and retest downloading a JasperSoft dashboard
