Issue/Introduction

Expected metrics are unavailable in Team Center.

 

The following errors are repeated in the notification panel:

Error while getting data for metric "Bytes In Use". Status code or reason: INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR (500,1000,null: No instances available for nass, java.lang.IllegalStateException: No instances available for nass)

Error while getting metric data. Status code or reason:
4
Error retrieving lazy upgrade status. Status code: undefined

Error while getting metric data. Status code or reason: INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR (No instances available for metadata)

Environment

Release : 20.2

Component : Introscope

Resolution

Looks like either NASS was not reachable or the GW was not in sync with NASS.  So best course of action is to restart the pods.

The pods to restart are:

apmservices-nass-001-6949c97564-l9vh2         
doi-nass-indexer-56bc84b594-jhctt       

I see this in NASS log:

2021-10-26 18:38:46.148 ERROR [nass,090104c6ee74469a,090104c6ee74469a,false] 1 --- [    Scheduler-3] c.c.a.c.s.SupportabilityManagerPoller    : No instances available for metadata
 

Restart this pod as well
