Critical Patch Updates for 12c Standard no longer being distributed

Issue/Introduction

Critical Patch Updates (CPU's) will no longer be distributed for Oracle 12c Standard Edition. This starts with the July 2021 Oracle CPU.

We suggest upgrading to 19c as soon as possible to continue receiving CPUs from Broadcom.

Cause

Oracle is only providing limited error correction for 12c until March 2022. We are encouraging customers to upgrade to 19c as soon as possible.

Resolution

Please Upgrade to Oracle 19c Standard Edition.
