Issue/Introduction

  • Unable to recreate domains in Jaspersoft
  • Load DWH - Full load is failing with below error:

    ERROR 2021-10-08 15:05:35,942 [Dispatch Load Data Warehouse - Full Load  : bg@XXXXXXX (tenant=clarity)] kettle.JasperSoftDomainUpdates (clarity:admin:9691979__2075AA1D-D473-46BB-9D67-5B5CD3CB33E2:Load Data Warehouse - Full Load) Error occurred while processing domain attributes. com.ca.jasper.restAdapter.JasperException: Forbidden

    <head><title>403 Forbidden</title></head>

  • The issue does not happen if bypassing the load balancer
  • Error also happens when restoring domains or running syncPPMContext command

 

Environment

Release : Any

Component : CLARITY JASPERSOFT

Resolution

  • Blockage of Content Type is causing the issue in LB
  • Content Types must be allowed/ enabled to allow recreation of domains
  • Content Types involved : XML and others
  • We do not have a list of all content types to enable as multiple are involved and we recommend those to be allowed
  • Work with the IT team on disabling Content Type blocking on the Load Balancer altogether or at least between Clarity and Jaspersoft
