High Global Alerts Alarms NOT subsiding. Freezing up SOI Console.

Resolution

The Spectrum side continuously sending Rogure_AP_Detected alarms to SOI creating a bottleneck.

 We checked the SOI DB and found there were over 250,000 of those active alarms and another 250,000 other active alarms.

Everytime we try to start the SOI Manager, it was taking a very long time trying to process all those alarms.

 

We had to run SQL query to set all active alarms to inactive and also insert the date/time in the ClearTime column in the Alerts table.

 

Now the SOI Manager came online quickly and we started the UIM and Spectrum connectors.
