CA Network Flow Analysis (NetQos / NFA)

Issue/Introduction

The harvester is falling behind, but there are no backlogged files in the ReaperInput directory.

When we check the harvester-wrapper.log file, the "Max Buffer Used Percent" is showing over 90%

Resolution

Stop the "CA NFA Harvester" service and delete all files from

netflow\datafiles\harvesterwork

as well as all *.NTA and *.TMP files from

netflow\datafiles\harvesterarchive

Make sure you are deleting the "*.NTA" files (with "T" for "Template") not the "*.NFA" files.

Then restart the "CA NFA Harvester" and "CA NFA Collection and poller webservice" services.

If the problem persists, please open a support ticket and attach the CARE file from the harvester.
