CA Performance Management - Usage and Administration DX NetOps

Issue/Introduction

After upgraded to version 23.3.x, the vulnerability scan is still complaining about this vulnerability:

Plugin Output: The following vulnerable instances of Java are installed on the
remote host :
  Path              : /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_vertica9
  Path              : /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_vertica9
  Installed version : 1.8.0_282
  Fixed version     : 1.7.0_301 / 1.8.0_291 / 1.11.0_11 / 1.16.0_1

When up upgrading to DX NetOps Performance Management r21.2.3 or newer Vertica on the Data Repository is upgraded to Vertica 10.1.x.

We now have the problematic /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_vertica9 and the new /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_vertica10 directory.

Is it safe to remove the old IMDataRepository_vertica9 directory to resolve the reported vulnerability?

Environment

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Resolution

Yes it is safe to remove the IMDataRepository_vertica9 directory.

It remains from prior installs and can be deleted.
