Issue/Introduction

When users upgraded WA Agent to 12.0, the command (UNIX/Windows) jobs sometimes fail with following errors

2021XXXX 00000000+0500 DE_MANAGER R12AGENT JOB123/MY_APPLICATION1.1/MAIN STATE SUBERROR Failed SetEnd Status(Invalid AFM)  User(...) Host(windowsbox)

Environment

Release : 12.x

Component : CA Workload Automation System Agent

Cause

This Invalid AFM can be caused if the job command is not properly read by Agent.  The command field may have some hidden characters in it.  This can be due copying and pasting of text from some other source.  The spaces in the command and argument field likely contains "U+A0" non-printable character instead of space.

Resolution

Retype the command and arguments in the job field.
